The South Louisiana   High School Rodeo Club (SLHSR) will be hosting The First Annual Exceptional   Rodeo at Lamar Dixon Expo, March 2nd beginning at 3:30pm. An Exceptional   Rodeo is an experience for Cowboys and Cowgirls to share their passion with   other Cowboys and Cowgirls who have
   disabilities, build others up and show them that they CAN do anything they   put their mind to. There will be several different activities for each   competitor to compete in such as: barrels, poles, roping, tying, and bucking   barrel events. Each competitor while receive a hat, back number, stick horse,   rope, bandana, and a belt buckle in their goodie bag! Cowboys and Cowgirls   from all around Louisiana will be there assisting and cheering on each   participant, after the rodeo all of the contestants will attend an awards   ceremony where their hard work will be rewarded. Following the
   awards, the participants and their families will be invited to dinner with   the SLHSR cowboys and cowgirls in the hospitality room, after dinner the   participants will be given tickets to the rodeo where they will see their new   friends compete in similar events that they competed in earlier in the
